Sponsored The bistronomic restaurant La Promenade is aptly named: Chef Rémi Navello has made it his signature. It refers to the famous avenue in Nice, his family's birthplace, and to the culinary stroll he offers between the flavors of the North and South. The Indus' decor, with its Art Deco pieces and photos of his grandfather from Nice, who worked at Régine's, is another nod to the North's past. Taste buds are delighted with the Prom' salad crowned with a perfect egg. The roasted scallops and morel risotto are also a must. The same goes for duck breast, sweet potato purée, beet pickles and cauliflower. Fish lovers will be delighted by the half-cooked albacore tuna, sautéed noodles and baby vegetables. "His croquettes revisited with shredded beef are impossible to get off the menu," says Alain Navello, his father and partner, who has put together a fine wine and beer list to match the dishes. When the weather's nice, treat yourself to a game of pétanque before enjoying your meal!
