Chef's Restaurant Mon Cousin is Nicolas Pourcheresse, the jack-of-all-trades of Lille's culinary scene, who we've been following since his beginnings in Franche-Comté twenty years ago, and his Grand de Demain title in the mid-2000s. The "red chef" hasn't mellowed over the years, but he's managed to refocus on what's essential: the pleasure he brings to his customers. There's always Le Vagabond, of course, but this Cousin, opened at the junction of Avenue de Dunkerque and Avenue Sainte-Cécile, sheds another welcome light on the world of this singular chef.
