Original Restaurant The view over the Maine River and the château is superb, whether you're on the terrace or in the tastefully renovated space of this old Angevin house. In the latter, a popular spot with the local youth scene, you can enjoy well-executed seasonal cuisine in a chic brasserie atmosphere, such as razor clams with parsley butter or tuna and citrus fruits. The wine list is built around fine references, including some great Bordeaux wines, but there's also the reassurance of a very good Savennières at €38.
