Sponsored Just a stone's throw from Place d'Italie, La Halte is a neighborhood brasserie created five years ago by Quentin Devos and his wife, Lucie. Well-known to regulars and tourists alike, this traditional restaurant offers home-cooked cuisine, providing an opportunity to sample tasty dishes from yesteryear. Andouillette, lamb mice and calf's head are a treat for connoisseurs. And don't forget the Auvergne dishes, from Aubrac burger with cantal to Aubrac tartar. Sirloin steak is also a big hit! Depending on what's available and what's in season, the restaurant also features fish on its menu or on its lunch menu. Meet at 7 a.m. for coffee or a hearty breakfast. As for wines, La Halte works directly with owners from all regions of France. All this in a warm, family atmosphere, with musical evenings in a guinguette-style setting: lanterns, velvet banquettes, brick walls, plants... invite you to push open the door of this renowned establishment. Open 7am-2am Monday to Friday, 8am-2am Saturday and 9am-2am Sunday.
