Cyril LIGNAC

Chef : 2 restaurants Restaurants, patisseries, TV shows... Cyril Lignac's success seems infinite. His creations can be found in Paris, London, Saint-Tropez or in his online boutique, and his biography can be discovered here!
Presentation

Cyril Lignac didn't much like going to school, preferring to spend his time with his mother and sister, baking marble cakes. He then went on to study hotel management, earning a CAP in pastry-making, cooking, ice-cream and chocolate-making, followed by a professional diploma.

from 2000 onwards, he gained experience at L'Arpège in Paris, Jardin des Sens in Montpellier, then Compagnie des Comptoir and Maison Blanche in Paris. Never forgetting his love of pastry-making, the young Lignac also perfected his skills alongside Pierre Hermé, then Alain Ducasse at La Grande Cascade.

His television debut

In 2005, he was hired by David and Cathy Guetta to run the kitchens at their restaurant La Suite. His career took a turning point when TV producer Bibiane Godfroid persuaded him to take part in the Oui chef! television show on M6. It was an instant success. His celebrity boosted him when he opened his first restaurant, Le Quinzième, in Paris, the same year (renamed Ischia in 2021).

From then on, Cyril Lignac became the most talked-about chef on the French TV airwaves: Top Chef in 2010, Le meilleur pâtissier in 2012 and Tous en cuisine in 2020. He also appears on M6 cooking shows such as Le chef contre-attaque, Les Rois du gâteau and Ma recette est la meilleure de France.

Numerous projects

Alongside his audiovisual activities, Cyril Lignac took over the bistro Le Chardenoux (Paris 11) in 2008, opened the restaurant Aux Près (Paris 6) in 2011, followed by Bar des prés, Dragon (Paris 6) in 2019, La Salle à Manger (Paris 6) and finally Café Lignac (Paris 7) in 2021. He also runs La Pâtisserie Cyril Lignac with his sidekick Benoît Couvrand, and La Chocolaterie Cyril Lignac.

The " French Favourite Chef " has since expanded his network, opening an address in London, two patisseries in Saint-Tropez and his online boutique. More recently, the Chef took part in the documentary Qu'est-ce qu'on va faire de toi, released in cinemas in 2024, and made his debut at the Gourmet pop-up at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann.
