The French gastronomic scene in 2026 promises once again to be rich in gourmet events and unmissable culinary experiences. From the heart of Paris to Lyon, lovers of haute cuisine, street food enthusiasts and chocolate aficionados will be spoilt for choice. So get your diaries ready! Here are the dates you'll need to take note of to fully experience the culinary effervescence that will make 2026 another great festival of taste in France.

Sirha Bake & Snack in January in Paris

From January 18 to 21, 2026, Sirha Bake & Snack takes over Paris Porte de Versailles to bring together artisans, manufacturers and distributors around the bakery, patisserie and snacking sectors. This trade show is a veritable international hub for the French bakery industry, providing an opportunity to discover new trends, product innovations and know-how in the sector. On the program: demonstrations, competitions, networking areas and business opportunities for players in the bread, Viennese pastry and bakery catering sectors.

Mondial du Rhum in February in Paris

From February 11 to 13, 2026, the Mondial du Rhum returns to the Carreau du Temple in Paris for its third edition, under the theme of "Terres et Territoires de Rhum". More than just a tasting show, this event, of which Gault&Millau is a partner, is a true cultural and human exploration of the producing regions, highlighting the terroirs, traditions and communities that shape this world-renowned spirit. Based on the concept of "spiritourism", it invites visitors to discover not only the rums themselves, but also the gastronomic, historical and cultural heritage that surrounds them. The 2026 edition will feature a culinary cruise orchestrated by renowned chefs, conferences, masterclasses and unique sensory experiences, as well as areas dedicated to innovation, training and young talent in the industry. Haiti will be featured as a guest country, offering an even deeper dive into its cultural and artistic universe.

Snack Show in April in Paris

On April 1ᵉʳ and 2, 2026, the Snack Show moves to Pavillon 7.2 at Paris Porte de Versailles. a benchmark event for snacking professionals, it highlights nomadic food concepts, technologies, innovations and equipment solutions, with over 400 exhibitors. For this year's event, The Coffee Place, a new themed area, is dedicated to the world of coffee, with masterclasses and demonstrations: a not-to-be-missed event for industry players in search of new trends.

Paris Café Festival in April in Paris

From April 11 to 13, 2026, the Paris Café Festival returns to the Carreau du Temple to celebrate the culture of specialty coffee. Three days dedicated to the tasting of exceptional coffees, extraction techniques, latte art workshops, cupping sessions and sharing between enthusiasts and professionals alike. It's a unique opportunity to discover French and international roasters and explore the gentle methods (V60, Chemex, AeroPress...) that make the coffee world so rich.

Taste of Paris in May 2026 in Paris

Lyon Street Food Festival in June

From June 11 to 14, 2026, the Lyon Street Food Festival transforms the Grandes Locos in La Mulatière into a temple of street food. For four days, nearly a hundred chefs and pastry chefs will offer over 150 exclusive recipes, accompanied by participatory workshops, musical entertainment and DJ sets. The event highlights the world's culinary diversity and celebrates the creativity of gastronomic artisans.

Le Grand Repas in October across France

Le Grand Repas is a national event held every year to promote responsible, local and seasonal food. Salon du Chocolat in October in Paris

One of the year's most iconic gourmet events, the Salon du Chocolat, returns to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from October 28 to November 1ᵉʳ, 2026.
