After Turin, Tallinn, Budapest and Trondheim, it's Marseille's turn to host the Bocuse d'Or Europe. Twenty national teams, selected from all over Europe, will compete on March 15 and 16, 2026, in the heart of the city of Marseille, to earn their place at the world final, scheduled to take place in Lyon in January 2027.

This choice establishes Marseille not only as a cultural and tourist mecca, but also as an international gastronomic showcase. The event promises to showcase the richness of Mediterranean cuisine and the expertise of European chefs.

A city steeped in gastronomy

As the European Capital of Gastronomy in 2023, Marseille perfectly embodies the Mediterranean spirit. With over 4,000 restaurants, a dynamic culinary craft industry and more than 30 food markets, the city combines tradition and modernity. The competition will provide an opportunity to showcase these influences, where fresh seafood, sun-drenched vegetables and aromatic herbs take center stage.

A meeting place for innovation and tradition

Organized in parallel with Sirha Méditerranée, the Bocuse d'Or Europe 2026 will bring together renowned chefs, young talent and international experts in an ecosystem conducive to exchange and innovation. More than a competition, it's a celebration of European and Mediterranean culinary heritagethe city will become a true European capital of gastronomy for the duration of the event.

So, who will represent the French flag and succeed Paul Marcon? Find out on October 21, 2025 at the Maison de la Mutualité, Paris, for the Bocuse d'Or France.
