Le Grand Repas returns for its 6th edition on October 9

The Grand Repas, a national culinary event, will once again be taking center stage on October 9, 2025. This year, it celebrates the gastronomy of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

From a single menu shared throughout France to an expanding European movement, the Grand Repas is now establishing itself as a celebration of taste and territories. For this 6ᵉ edition, the event should be present in 80 French and overseas departments, but also in Germany and Belgium. No fewer than 64 sponsoring chef duos - pairing one representative from the catering industry and one from the traditional food service sector - are devising seasonal, local and sustainable menus tailored to the diversity of the participating structures.

This year, 19 local chefs will be in the spotlight, and 11 menus will carry the Grand Repas colors, to showcase the richness of the Auvergne and Rhône-Alpes terroir.

A menu shared by all

The principle remains unchanged: on the same day, a local menu devised by the chefs is served in crèches, schools, hospitals, company restaurants, traditional establishments and even at home. Each participant can find the local recipe on the "Territoires" page of the official website, and cook the festive meal themselves.

The aim is twofold: to support local producers through short distribution channels, and to raise public awareness of the importance of quality food, anchored in its environment.

A federative event supported by numerous partners

Supported by committed players such as Restau'Co, Agores, Mon Restau Responsable, Agrilocal, Euro-Toques, the Syndicat du GHR and the SNRC, the Grand Repas is firmly rooted in the catering world.

Last year, 600,000 people took part in the event. Once again this year, everyone can register free of charge and without obligation via the Association's website.
