Perfect for spending quality time with your tribe, these hotels have all been designed for young and old alike. Furnished rooms, activities for all ages, big tables.... Five tailor-made places for a dream vacation with your children.

Summer is above all a time for family reunions. To make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible, we've selected five hotels across France that have created a world conducive to children's well-being, while offering their parents the very best in terms of services and gastronomy. On the edge of Normandy or facing Lake Leman, in the Provencal countryside or on the Côte d'Opale, our favorite hideaways.

In the Loire Valley, Domaine de Primard

Set on the banks of the Eure, the magnificent Domaine de Primard is THE family paradise. Parents love the charm of the 40 rooms and suites (with connecting doors), Romain Meder's exquisite vegetarian cuisine and the delights of the Susanne Kaufmann spa. As soon as they arrive, the youngest guests can head off to the kids club for a treasure hunt, a treasure hunt, a cooking class or a visit to the farm with its Highland cows, Ouessant black sheep and two donkeys. Last but not least, families can discover the nearby gardens of Giverny.

Gaëlle Le Boulicaut - Benoît Linero

On the Côte d'Opale, Barrière Le Westminster Touquet

We love the hushed luxury of this art deco palace set above the sea, with its connecting rooms designed for families. At the Barrière Le Westminster Touquet, while parents pamper themselves at the Nuxe spa, fitness center or large swimming pool, children (aged 4 to 12) meet up at the Studio Petit VIP where entertainers await them for a wide range of activities: cartooning, sculpture, music, photo club... And everyone comes together at mealtimes to enjoy Bruno Borrione's cuisine and, every Sunday, the sublime West Brunch.

On the shores of Lake Leman, Royal Evian

This Belle Epoque palace is home to 150 rooms and suites restored by François Champsaur, who has restored the spaces to their original spaciousness, making them perfect family retreats. Guests come to the Royal Evian for its gourmet cuisine by Patrice Vander, its extraordinary 20-hectare park and its 1,200 m² spa. And while parents laze by the swimming pool overlooking Lake Geneva, children can join the three kids' clubs (4 months to 16 years), which offer a wide range of activities - tennis, padel, etc. - as well as a wide range of water sports.tennis, padel or archery lessons, cooking or theater workshops - not to mention play areas and an indoor pool designed just for them.

Bernard Touillon

In the Provencal countryside, Hôtel de Capelongue

This village-style refuge (with its little squares, bookshop, café...) has just reopened its doors following the restoration of its 57 rooms and suites. At the Hôtel de Capelongue, children are free to wander through the narrow streets and enjoy the play areas, vegetable garden and large swimming pool. Designed for 3-16 year-olds, the children's club is also very popular, with storytelling, herbarium-making and painting workshops, unless your children prefer donkey rides in the garrigue or pétanque lessons in the shade of the tall trees. Don't worry, parents won't be bored either, between discovering the pools and the sublime antique swimming corridor next to the spa, the lavender-filled gardens or the delights of Noël Bérard's gourmet restaurant.

In the Var, Château Saint Roux

Just a stone's throw from La Garde Freinet, this historic estate now combines everything: a 40-hectare vineyard, a mini farm with animals, an organic vegetable garden, a bakery, a cheese factory, as well as an ecolodge and a restaurant. Pack your bags in one of the six family rooms or five chambres d'hôtes, and set off to discover the area and the many activities on offer. Children swear by the discovery of animals and cheese-making. Parents take part in tastings of the estate's wines, join their children in bakery workshops where they make their own bread, and then accompany them to discover the farm where goats, ducks and chickens live side by side. Just as warm and family-friendly, the Saint-Roux table brings everyone together on a large, shady terrace to enjoy the 100% home-cooked cuisine of chef Guillaume Rigaudias.

Les Sourires de Léa

Mob Hôtel Paris Les Puces: an escape to Paris (or almost)!

Ideal for a stay in Paris with the kids (and especially the teens, who love its cool spirit), the Mob Hôtel is first and foremost a place to live in the truest sense of the word. Settle into an ultra-chic, four-person Master Mob in acidic colors, and the fun begins. A vast garden with an open-air cinema, two rooftops for yoga classes in the morning and a drink in the evening, a large lounge-library, a mini grocery store next to the reception area, a large table soccer table next to the bar, and finally a restaurant. next to the bar, and finally a restaurant (now the HQ for the whole of eastern Paris) serving delicious organic Italian-inspired cuisine (the pizzas are to die for). A perfect location just a stone's throw from the Puces de Saint-Ouen, and 15 minutes from central Paris by metro.

  • Master Mob room from 103 euros
  • 8 rue Gambetta 93400 Saint-Ouen. Tel: 01 47 00 70 70
