To celebrate its 100th anniversary, Delta Air Lines is teaming up with champagne house Taittinger to offer passengers in the Delta One cabin an even more refined travel experience. Beginning in spring 2025, this exclusive partnership will cover several strategic routes, including Atlanta to Europe, JFK to Europe, and Paris-CDG to the United States.

A sensory experience at altitude

For a celebration of this magnitude, champagne is a natural choice. Delta chose Taittinger Brut la Française, a symbol of excellence and elegance. This refined champagne boasts subtle aromas of peach, white flowers, vanilla bean and brioche, as well as notes of fresh fruit and honey on the palate.

Kristen Manion Taylor, S.V.P. of Delta's in-flight service, underlines the importance of this choice in a press release: "Not all champagnes are created equal. Taittinger is a champagne for connoisseurs - it embodies an understated, refined elegance that is sure to impress our Delta One customers," says Kristen Manion Taylor, Senior Vice President, Inflight Services. "A family-owned company, Taittinger shares with us a quest for excellence, and we're delighted to partner with them to sublimate our passengers' travel experience."

An exclusive in-flight offer

Passengers in the Delta One cabin will be able to enjoy Taittinger Brut la Française as a pre-meal drink on international flights, as well as at any time during the flight. This choice is in line with the airline's program of excellence, which aims to offer a selection of quality wines, working with renowned producers and highlighting exceptional wine discoveries.

Advanced training for premium service

To offer the best possible service, Delta is also expanding its Sky Sommelier program. "The interactions between our flight attendants and our customers are one of the pillars of the Delta experience. We are investing in the training of our teams so that they continue to cultivate the excellence in hospitality and service for which we are known," says Kristen Manion Taylor.

With this initiative, Delta Air Lines reaffirms its commitment to a premium, refined travel experience, where every detail is thought through to offer passengers the very best. A century of history accompanied by a prestigious toast, to be savoured at altitude.
