Announced on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, La Forêt Secrète is set to open its doors in the heart of the Disneyland Hotel. For over a year, rumors circulated: after the reopening of the establishment, a great chef would inaugurate a gourmet table to complement La Table de Lumière and the Royal Banquet. It is now official: from March 7, 2025, visitors will be able to discover a restaurant inspired by Disney universes, where each dish promises a journey between magic and haute cuisine. At the head of this new address? Jean Imbert, a 4-toque chef and an emblematic figure of the French gastronomic scene. Fascinated by Disney since childhood, he realizes here a project that is particularly close to his heart. With La Forêt Secrète, he envisions a restaurant where the magic of movies meets the demands of haute cuisine. While the menu remains secret, it promises dishes inspired by the studio's greatest classics, blending creativity and gastronomy. Accessible to hotel residents as well as park visitors, the restaurant will be open every evening from Wednesday to Sunday. Three menus will be offered: A discovery menu in 3 courses at 140 euros, A tasting menu in 5 courses at 200 euros, A children's menu at 70 euros (drink included). Jean Imbert has been immersed in the world of haute gastronomy for a long time. The youngest graduate of the Institut Paul Bocuse opened his first restaurant L'Acajou, in Paris, at just 22 years old. Revealed to the general public after his victory in Top Chef in 2012, he multiplies exceptional projects. In 2018, he already signed a menu for Disneyland with Petit Jean, an ephemeral table within the Founder's Club. In parallel, he collaborates with singer Pharrell Williams and opens his restaurant Swan, in Miami. In 2021, he took over the kitchens of the Plaza Athénée, succeeding Alain Ducasse. Two years later, he became the chef of the restaurants at the Hôtel Martinez in Cannes, before announcing, at the beginning of 2025, the opening of his restaurant Logis Sainte-Catherine, located at Mont-Saint-Michel. With this new address at Disneyland, the chef continues to expand his universe, between great houses and more personal projects.
