Alain Ducasse and Baccarat: this autumn's high-flying collaboration

Maison Baccarat teams up with Alain Ducasse to rethink its culinary offering in Paris's 16ᵉ arrondissement. Here's what to expect back in 2024.

Alain Ducasse is a man of projects. Following his association with mixologist Margot Lecarpentier to develop the cocktail offering within his group, the world-famous chef has just announced his collaboration with Maison Baccarat. Starting in September 2024, he will bring his culinary expertise to enliven the firm's house, located in the 16ᵉ arrondissement of Paris.

The future offering of the Maison Baccarat

Maison Baccarat, housed in the former mansion of viscountess and patron Marie-Laure de Noailles, is set for a revival. Together, the glassmaking firm and Alain Ducasse want to reinvent it, "to transform it into a place of experiences, moments of life and unexpected encounters, where art and craft meet, from midday to midnight. In this way, Baccarat's "sunny, contemporary works" should resonate with the cuisine of the chef, who will bring his vision to the establishment. " I want to convey a universe of creation, recreation and recreation," explains Alain Ducasse.

Thus, on the first floor, the boutique will be the temple of the Baccarat universe, displaying timeless icons as well as new creations, "culminating in the 260th anniversary collection of Baccarat, previewed in France".

The rest of the house will be divided into dining and bar areas, a garden and a ballroom, providing a lovely playground for France's most famous chef. "Reinventing the Maison Baccarat Paris 16ᵉ (1 toque) with Alain Ducasse, creative genius, visionary and undisputed ambassador of French gastronomy, is a great joy. Together, we are looking to the future, in search of new inspirations and innovations to surprise our visitors and offer them unique experiences around art and craftsmanship," assures Maggie Henriquez, Baccarat's General Manager. All the restaurant and bar areas will open in September 2024. The ballroom will be available for private events from September onwards.
