Description
Wine merchant After fifteen years in China, where he worked in the wine world, Stéphane Weydert returned to his hometown of Reims in 2023 to take over La Cave CQFD. The 300 m² space features a wine, champagne and spirits cellar with 1,500 references from France and around the world, a space dedicated to wine workshops (Friday evenings and Saturday lunchtimes) on a variety of themes, and a wine bar. The latter, which is available by reservation only, offers several formulas: the Essentielle invites you to taste six different wines, while the Gourmande formula allows you to enjoy an assortment of charcuterie and cheeses selected from the finest artisans. A delicatessen corner is also available. Stéphane Weydert and his team make a point of adapting to tastes and requests, guiding both novice and connoisseur customers between great classics, discoveries... and a few rarities. "In addition to a rigorous selection, which changes regularly, my customers come for the advice and contact," explains the manager. "I favor good wines born of a diversity of viticultural practices: taste above all!".
