Bakery Close to the magnificent Château de Valmirande and Lac de Montréjeau, between Saint-Gaudens and Tarbes, Marie Maussion and Jérémy Schacher, known as "Les Biboux", bake gourmet treats using old stone-ground flours from the ultra-local terroir. Among the breads available by the slice or wholemeal on sourdough, you'll particularly appreciate farmhouse bread, buckwheat bread and petit épeautre. Viennoiseries such as the New York roll, filled with pastry cream or spread, and the Biboutine, a crunchy viennoiserie with almond cream and cranberries born of their imagination, will intoxicate you with happiness! Les Biboux make pastries with as little sugar as possible, as well as gluten-free and lactose-free delights on request. For mid-day munchies, a fine range of sandwiches, pizzas, quiches and salads will satisfy your small hungers. Made the old-fashioned way, just the way we like it.
