Bakery Damien Besson, Compagnon du Devoir, Gold Medalist at the 2017 World Bakery Championships, and his wife, Laura, after a successful career (particularly abroad), have settled in Charente in 2023 to be closer to their family. How we envy their customers! Every day, Damien amazes the taste buds with his talent, with wonderful artisan breads made from his own sourdough and a unique composition of stone-crushed organic flours. In addition to flavor, the breads, including the incredible Norwegian with fruit, are thus healthy, digestible and long-lasting. "Her breads are made in large pieces; customers choose their quantity," explains Laura. The taste buds also succumb to her Tradition baguette, viennoiseries, brioches, flans and tarts. "We use raw organic milk from the local farm, delivered on the morning of production, PDO butter from the département, and seasonal fruit and vegetables from the local market gardener," say the adorable newlyweds, who also offer delicious sandwiches.
