Gault&Millau's review

Winemaker Purists will no doubt be surprised to see this winemaker, one of the most renowned of Loire wines, featured in our pages. This is because, administratively, the domaine, located in Thouars, 79, is actually in Aquitaine. No matter. The domaine produces great Loire wines. Very ripe, precise and scintillating, all cuvées are vinified without sulfur (or very little). The whole range is highly recommendable. The domaine is open by appointment.
