Description

Gault&Millau's review
Made from a vineyard planted in 1964 on limestone soil in Rilly, this Chardonnay is very fresh and very Burgundian in spirit. The palate is full-bodied, vibrant and clean. A true identity of pure and direct Chardonnay, but which does not mimic those of the Côte des Blancs. Really delicious and stylish.

Gault&Millau's review
In the range, the expressions of a single grape are called "4 Elements". This Meunier, made from a 1963 plot of vines at the top of a limestone slope, offers an ultra-fine, delicately toasty nose, in all elegance. We are far from the heavy Meuniers too often encountered. The palate is beautifully energetic, racy and vibrant. Here, aging does not mark the wine, it drives it. Top.

Gault&Millau's review
A beautifully light coloured rosé with a fine nose of white fruits with seemingly sprinkled red fruits. The palate is straight, digestive and chiseled. A rosé that is so easy to drink that you will have to chill the bottles two by two.

With a majority of Pinot Noir, this cuvée has a scintillating gold coloured robe. The nose offers roasted and coffee notes, and “pinotes” immediately. Compared to other cuvées, the mouth has gained in width but tightens on the finish, preserving precision and its juicy and crystalline side. A true Blanc de Noirs representative of the spirit of the northern Montagne de Reims. Bravo.

Gault&Millau's review
An entry level champagne of a quality that we would like to see more often from other domaines. The blend of predominantly Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier with 20% Chardonnay is scintillating, offering very fresh, precise and chiseled fruit. The palate matches with crunchy fruit, crisp acidity and is really appetising. One of the best value for money cuvées tasted in recent months.

Gault&Millau's review
Barely dosaged, this wine comes from a solera system kept in large old casks and renewed at only 10% each year since 1982. The nose is clean and precise, with hazelnuts, toasted almonds, juicy pear, and presents a menthol touch upon aeration. In its complexity, we discover the precise definition of the domain. The palate seems a little more marked by maturity today, but retains that freshness that makes you want a thick slice of turbot accompanied by watercress, pear and miso. A very good champagne.
