Its surprising cherry color gives way to aromas of cherry juice and berries (blackcurrant, blackberry, wild berry, raspberry) for a nose that's all round and delicious, very juicy, underlined by a cloud of smoke. This deeply fruity sensation is repeated on the palate, where the delicate acidity of the cherry counterbalances the chewy tannic structure. Small bitters awaken the finish and avoid any heaviness.

Taisne Riocour

The Taisne family is one of the great historical houses of Les Riceys, owning 20 hectares spread over 18 parcels in the village and surrounding villages. The vines have an average age of around thirty years. It was only in 2018 that the Taisne Riocour brand was launched, with the bulk of the clear wines destined for two fine Marne houses: Ayala and Joseph Perrier. Made with blends created by Philippe Jamesse, the region's leading sommelier, production is fairly limited, with a range of 6 cuvées. Since 2025, Alexis Belkacemi has joined the company as cellar master.
