Coming from a plot of Chardonnay planted over 70 years ago, the grapes were vinified and matured for one year in barrels. Freshness and smoky notes blend nicely on the nose, becoming gourmet in the mouth, shaken up by the terroir which takes over creating chalky and sapide density. A champagne with original flavours that calls for a rich and creamy dish, like “une poularde vallée d’Auge” (creamy chicken with apples).

Established for more than five generations in the south of the Montagne de Reims, the family domaine has a little over 9 hectares of vines located on chalky slopes facing south and south-east. The vineyards are very fragmented, made up of 40 plots mainly planted with Pinot Noir but also, for a third of the surface, with Chardonnay. The estate began its first year of conversion to organic in 2020.
