This 100% Premier Cru from Pierry, vinified for 8 months in barrel, is the fruit of a sunny vintage. The dashing nose has a delicate, subtle fragrance of pithiviers. On the palate, the wine is chewy, with hints of lemon and kumquat. The saline, mineral finish ensures good length. This champagne, still in its youth, goes well with Tarbouriech oysters from the Bassin de Thau.

The historically famous Renaudin family succeeded the line of the lords of Cornardins in 1724. The estate owns a 24 hectare vineyard spread over six villages: Moussy, Pierry, Chavot, Orbais-l'Abbaye, Cramant and Fontaine- sur-Ay. 12 hectares are now exploited by the S.C.E.V. Tellier Renaudin Champagne which took over the R. Renaudin champagne brand after the property had been divided in the family. The wine museum of the estate offers old vintages for sale in mathusalem, including the 1990 vintage.
