A lovely, fresh nose that opens with a basket of white-fleshed fruit. More complex notes of toasted bread, acacia honey and lime blossom follow. With aeration, more voluptuous notes of incense bring their intense aromas. Beneath delicate bubbles, the body is pleasant, underlined by notes of yellow fruit and citrus peel. The finish lingers on the fruit, with a slight bitterness.

The family business was founded in the charming premier cru village of Ludes in 1930 by Marcel Ployez and his wife Yvonne Jacquemart. The soul of the house, characterized by the utmost rigor in wine-making, is now represented by the third generation, Laurence, who perpetuates the founding values of tradition, exacting standards and deep roots in the Champagne terroir. Ployez-Jacquemart is certified HVE3 (high environmental value) and VDC (sustainable viticulture in Champagne).
