Produced from the 2013 harvest, this pure Cramant is vinified in wood. Tasted in the ideal magnum format, the wine presents a very elegant nose with initial mineral notes before giving way to more toasty aromas and a touch of caramel. On the palate, the wine possesses all the tension of its terroir and the roundness of its vinification. The bubbles are fine and lively, just right. It would have been foolish not to open it.

Philippe and Véronique Glavier have been making their champagnes as récoltant-manipulants since 1995. He represents the third generation of winegrowers, his wife is part of a long line (twelve generations), all from the village of Monthelon. The Chardonnay grand cru range is produced in Cramant, Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger on their own premises; pressing and ageing are carried out separately in small vats to preserve the typicity of each terroir. The wide range of wines on offer gives pride of place to cuvées from each terroir. The domaine is happy to welcome you by appointment.
