Aromas of lemon cream, toast and fresh wood open a rather fleshy bouquet that quickly evolves towards stewed yellow-fleshed fruit, pistachio cream and spices. Lively and slender, the material is chiseled like a Gothic flying buttress. Fresh notes of sweet citrus add dynamism, while spices titillate the palate, coated by a chalky frame. An energetic finish. A wine of character that still needs time to find the perfect balance.

Pertois-Moriset

The house is located in the village of Mesnil-sur-Oger and owns 20 ha of vines, more than half of which are located on the prestigious Côte des Blancs. Here, malolactic fermentations are blocked in search of tension and purity in wines of great origins. The house's wide range has been extended to include a high-level cuvée parcellaire, and new, sober, elegant packaging. The estate will convert to organic farming in 2024.
