The caramel-chocolate nose heralds an assertive indulgence! Walnut, curry, ripe mango and a heady floral note. It's like being in an Indian store in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. The palate is full of character! A creamy bubble that takes us on a kiwi and ginger retro. A finish with a lovely saline tension. The patinated, savory texture reminds us of vanilla cake. The slight chewiness is very pleasant, making you salivate and come back for more. An original, balanced style that keeps us coming back for more.

Olivier Marteaux

Born into a family of winemakers and nursery growers, Olivier Marteaux became, in 1998—after completing his studies at the Avize viticulture high school—a grape-grower and winemaker at the estate founded by his grandfather. He launched his eponymous brand in 2009. The estate spans 12 hectares across some 40 plots in the Marne Valley, between Azy-sur-Marne and Charly-sur-Marne, planted with 15% Chardonnay, 14% Pinot Noir, and 70% Meunier. Drawing on these terroirs and grape varieties, Olivier crafts a range of six cuvées that reflect his personality and showcase the fruits of his labor.
