The nose of this premier cru opens with lively, vibrant notes of sugared almonds, tonka beans, plums, vanilla, fresh curry and yeast. On the palate, the wine offers real thickness, fine bubbles and succulent length. On the finish, a beautiful combination of Champagne bitters and richness. Open with poultry supreme, coriander and green curry sauce, puffed rice.

Nicolas Maillart
The Maillarts are not the first generation of winegrowers: they are said to have started as early as 1753. Nicolas Maillart, representing the ninth generation, took over the reins of the estate in 2003 after studying oenology and gaining experience abroad. Of the nearly 9 ha planted, two-thirds are massal selections, a method that has become rare. The house has planted a Petit Meslier vine to produce a cuvée, and produces champagnes with a precise style, substance and dosage. The relatively natural aspect of the wines is perfectly mastered, and the clear wines blew us away. Since 2017, the domaine has offered a gîte for six people to discover the vineyards.
