A blend of equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Venteuil terroir produces this barrel-fermented cuvée. The palate is finely woody and toasty, spicy, rich and ripe. With its lovely bitterness, it finishes with a touch of menthol that brings back freshness. Very good length. Flattering today, it can be kept or served with a veal chop with morels.
