Very pretty, sparkling, golden, luminous color. The nose is reminiscent of dried mushrooms. The palate is vibrant, attesting to a balance between richness, power, maturity, freshness, the minerality of the terroir, aromatic complexity and texture. Everything is in place for a great wine. The vanilla woodiness adds a creamy touch to the whole. Bravo to the winemaker for his balancing act!
