Gault&Millau's review
Born in Champagne, Jean-Louis Malard has long been immersed in the world of champagne and the great houses. He shared school benches with Champagne winemakers, who have since become his preferred grape suppliers for his négociant manipulant business, set up in 1996. He sources his grapes from the most prestigious villages: Cramant and Avize for the white grands crus, Bouzy and Ambonnay for the reds. For some years now, the company's head office has been located in the heart of the famous village of Aÿ, classified as a Grand Cru.
