Gault&Millau's review
Lucien Collard is the descendant of a Champagne family who have been cultivating vines in Bouzy since the 17th century, even before the advent of champagne, when wines were still being produced. Since then, each generation has devoted itself to continuing the estate's development. Pinot noir naturally reigns supreme here, and practices such as the exclusive use of cœur de cuvée, the absence of malolactic fermentation and prolonged aging contribute to the quality of the wines. Lucien Collard currently manages the estate, accompanied by his god-daughter, Auriane Denis, who joined him in 2015. Since 2023, the 2 ha estate has been certified organic.
