A fine, golden color for this Carte Noire, with the characteristic nose found in many "reserves", combining ripe yellow fruit with a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is vinous and preserves a lovely pep. Gourmet, with a honeyed finish, it is ideal with roasted white meats.
