The estate is located in Mareuil sur Ay, in a renowned village classified as a premier cru. Certified organic, since 2012 Laurent Bénard and his wife have also opted for certification of their cellar practices. Working the soil, no added sulfur at bottling, wood ageing and low dosage are daily practices in the quest for authentic champagne. An engineer, Laurent Benard sees organic farming as a means to an end.
