Very pretty nose, harmoniously combining ripe notes of dried apricot, mirabelle plum and roasted hazelnuts with juicy yellow peach, nectarine and round dried fruit (mango, pineapple). On aeration, almost toasty notes appear, but without excess. The palate is delicious, with ripeness transcended by incredible freshness and minerality. The palate is all sweetness, light and caressing at the same time, with endless length, without tiring the palate. A great champagne to be enjoyed as an aperitif, at the table or as an after-dinner drink.

Larmandier-Bernier

In Vertus, Sophie and Pierre Larmandier, now joined by their son Arthur, work according to biodynamic principles 18 ha spread over 50 plots of the Côte des Blancs: Cramant, Chouilly, Oger, Avize in Grand Cru, Vertus in Premier Cru. They enjoy a worldwide reputation for the purtiy and the incisive style of their champagnes. The cuvée Terre de Vertus is a Premier Cru coming from Les Barillers and Les Faucherets, located from plots in the middle of the hillside at Vertus and facing south-east. Special mention to the cuvée Vieille Vigne du Levant, an extra-brut grand cru (formerly known as Vieille Vigne de Cramant) which derives its sapidity from the deeply rooted vines aged 50 to 80 years.
