A real cuddly toy on the nose, with aromas of ripe yellow and white fruit, lime blossom and fresh blood orange, sprinkled with sweet spices (cumin, coriander, turmeric, curry). This sweetness is reflected in a sparkling body, energized by a perfectly controlled acid framework and a few pretty bitters. Elegant bubbles bring just the right effervescence and titillate the tongue, while spices and tropical fruits try to call you back.

Larmandier-Bernier

In Vertus, Sophie and Pierre Larmandier, now joined by their son Arthur, work according to biodynamic principles 18 ha spread over 50 plots of the Côte des Blancs: Cramant, Chouilly, Oger, Avize in Grand Cru, Vertus in Premier Cru. They enjoy a worldwide reputation for the purtiy and the incisive style of their champagnes. The cuvée Terre de Vertus is a Premier Cru coming from Les Barillers and Les Faucherets, located from plots in the middle of the hillside at Vertus and facing south-east. Special mention to the cuvée Vieille Vigne du Levant, an extra-brut grand cru (formerly known as Vieille Vigne de Cramant) which derives its sapidity from the deeply rooted vines aged 50 to 80 years.
