Sophie and Pierre Larmandier have been based in Vertus since 1988. As early as 1992, the estate stopped using chemicals and became certified organic in 2003. The estate cultivates 20 hectares across 50 plots in the Côte des Blancs using biodynamic methods. In 2017, their son Arthur joined the business, followed by Georges in 2021. Their worldwide reputation precedes them thanks to their very pure, crisp-style champagnes. Special mention goes to the Grand Cru Extra Brut “Vieille Vigne du Levant” (formerly “Vieille Vigne de Cramant”), which derives its character from the deep roots of old vines.
