Gault&Millau's review
The domaine is located in Cramant, in the heart of the Côtes des Blancs, where it owns most of its 8.5 hectares of Grand Cru vines (Avize, Chouilly and Cramant). Managed by Gilles Lancelot, a friendly and competent man, this family-run business, whose history dates back to the beginning of the century, vinifies its Chardonnays in vats to allow the terroir's minerality to express itself to the full. The house also reduces the dosage of all its cuvées. More recently, the house has been introducing enthusiasts to the art of dosage through comparative tastings, offering tastings of clear wines and inviting them to take part in the elaboration of a blend.
