Laherte Frères
Managing an 11-hectare vineyard that is particularly fragmented and scattered - 75 parcels spread between the Côte des Blancs, the southern slopes of Épernay and the Marne valley - Thierry and Christian Laherte are constantly on the move. Not content with reintroducing old grape varieties, they are also trying to plant their vines organically, and even biodynamically on certain parcels. Thierry's son Aurélien, who represents the seventh generation, learned to make wine at the age of 15 and brings a new energy to the domaine. Today, the range is explicit, divided into three families: the "Singulières et Originales" cuvées, the "Ultradition" and the "Cœurs de terroir". The wines are superb.
