Remember your grandmother's vacation home in the Landes. These mixtures of fragrances recall her bedroom drawers (iris root, lipstick), fruit pilfered from the garden (blackberry, raspberry) and long walks by the sea (heather flowers, ferns, iodine). The nose is particularly expressive and pleasant. The palate is less expansive, with notes of orange blossom brioche and lime-blossom honey. The fruit and sensation of fresh air return on the finish.

JM Gobillard et Fils

The story of Maison Gobillard began in 1933 with Gervais Gobillard, who acquired a small hectare in Hautvillers, believed in his good fortune and launched his brand at a time when only the big houses were profiting from sales. His son Jean-Marie took up the torch, launched a nursery business and expanded the estate to 8 hectares. The family-run business now sells some 1.5 million bottles worldwide, as the champagnes are particularly well distributed. The wide range can be discovered directly at the family cellar, located just opposite Hautvillers Abbey, where Dom Pérignon mastered the art of blending.
