Fragrances of peach jam, apricot kernel, rosewater and honey rise above the glass. On the palate, the lemon is powerful and brings a certain tension. However, the dosage counterbalances this and allows us to enjoy a form of generosity. A balance on the edge that will appeal, especially with citrus desserts.

Jean-Yves de Carlini

Founded in 1955 by Roger de Carlini, the Jean-Yves de Carlini champagne house, located in Verzenay, farms 6.5 ha of vines classified as Montagne de Reims Grand Cru (Verzenay, Verzy, Beaumont-sur-Vesle), but also in the very fine Premier Crus of Villers-Marmery, Rilly-la-Montagne and Ludes. With some 60,000 bottles produced each year, the family, now represented by the third generation, masters the entire production process, from vine to bottle. The estate also produces ratafia, vieux marc and fine Champagne.
