With its fine bubbles, this vintage is both lively and mellow. Notes of ripe peaches, mirabelle plums and citrus fruit dominate a ripe, fine nose. The palate is marked by a sustained dosage, volume on the attack, honeyed flavors and a saline finish. A champagne to be served with a meal, such as monkfish bourride.
