A mellowed Chardonnay that delivers tender aromas of poached yellow fruit, medlar and sweet clover with great fullness. The aromas of brioche, fresh breadcrumbs and sourdough are the fruit of accomplished ageing. Green citrus then takes over. A gastronomic Mesnil, with a vinous mouthfeel, that pushes the limits of its facundity and bonhomie. The bubbles, on the other hand, serve a greater purpose.
