Gault&Millau's review
Created in 1922 by Georges Baradon, a professionnal “riddler” and his son-in-law Maurice Janisson, a cooper. The house is still run by the Janisson family, brothers Maxence (General Director) and Cyril (President) now cultivating over 9 hectares of vines on the western slopes of Épernay, in Chouilly and Brimont. since 1997, this vineyard has been taken care of by working the soil without any weedkiller. Most of the vintages involve a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, on equal terms.
