A claimed expression of the 2017 vintage, this 745 nevertheless contains a few reserve wines. The nose is superb, offering ripe, ethereal, fine, delicate fruit, complemented by hints of menthol and dried fruit. On the palate, the champagne, barely dosed, vibrates with all its fruit and offers a form of natural expression that we'd like to find more often. The finish is sapid, chalky, almost saline. To be savored on its own merits.
