Gault&Millau's review
Jacquesson is one of the great houses to have remained family-owned. With 30 hectares in production in Avize, Aÿ, Mareuil, Dizy and Hautvilliers, plus some ten hectares of purchased grapes, all in Premier and Grand Crus, the Chiquet brothers are committed to the highest quality. They continue to innovate: after identifying their different versions of brut sans année (n° 737, n° 738...), marketing plot-based cuvées with strong personality, they now offer late disgorgement. All the wines are remarkable.
