Gault&Millau's review
Although the Beaufort family had already been growing vines in Champagne since the 16th century, it was in 1929 that Marcellin and his son Herbert began producing Bouzy wine. Today, the grandchildren have take over the 13 hectare estate. Hugues Beaufort joined in 1990 and his brother Ludovic in 2002. Since 1982 all of the champagnes are vinified without malolactic fermentation.
