Gruet
The domaine has been established in Buxeuil since 1670, but the first bottles of champagne with this label date back to 1975. Winemakers from father to son, Claude Gruet and his wife are accompanied by their son, Pierre-Charles Gruet. The estate grows all the rare Champagne grape varieties (pinot noir, pinot meunier, chardonnay, pinot blanc, arbane and petit meslier). From this ampelographic richness, the domaine draws cuvées from a single grape variety (pinot blanc and arbane), and the "Cuvée des 3 Blancs" is enriched with chardonnay. The extensive range even includes a red coteaux-champenois. The winery recently opened a tasting room with capacity for 70 people.
