The color, finely tinged with pink highlights, hints at the unfiltered nature of this 100% pinot noir from Les Riceys. The nose pinches perfectly, with notes of apple turnover, yellow stone fruit and fresh grapes. The wine's volume is impressive from the outset, giving great structure to the whole. A particularly successful cuvée, full of fruit and volume.

It was in the Riceys area that the Gallimard champagne house decided to set up in the 1930s, in order to produce fine, fruity champagnes. Famous for its personality, this terroir offers excellent Pinot Noir qualities. Didier Gallimard and his son Arnaud now manage 12 hectares of vines planted on the village slopes. At the winery, tests of aging in amphorae have resulted in a dedicated cuvée: Amphoressence.
