The family history of Champagne Fernand Lemaire unfolds in the iconic village of Hautvillers, classified as a Premier Cru. In 1903, the first cuvée was produced, the result of a production process meticulously managed from start to finish. Since 2022, the great-grandchildren, Hélène and Benoît, have been managing the estate, upholding the house’s tradition: no herbicides or pesticides for over 20 years, mechanical tilling of the soil by tractor or horse, and no blending in the cuvées to allow each vintage to express itself fully.
