Gault&Millau's review 2023
A single-vineyard Pinot Noir from the 2017 harvest on limestone soil. The nose reveals saline and floral notes. On the palate, this thirst-quenching salinity is combined with a sharp minerality, balanced by good volume and a creamy patina. Fine bitters punctuate the tasting. A perfect match for warm oysters in sabayon sauce.

Étienne Sandrin
Étienne Sandrin
Anne and Étienne Sandrin took over the family domaine in 2006, and from the moment they arrived, they had a very clear idea of what they wanted to achieve: champagnes that reflected their terroir as accurately as possible. Their signature cuvées come from a single plot and a single vintage. To achieve even greater accuracy in their wines, and true to their motto "Do it your way, and above all do it right!", the winemakers converted their operation to organic farming back in 2014, and the switch to biodynamic (Demeter certification) was made in 2018. Most of the wines come from pinot noir planted, depending on the plot, on limestone marl or clay soil, and are neither filtered nor dosed.
