A winemaker devoted to the Pinot Meunier grape, Éric Taillet tells the story of the Belval valley in his interpretations of the variety. Here, it comes from very old vines planted on clay-limestone soils in the village of Baslieux. The result is a subtle nose of nougat, honey and breadcrumbs, supported by a fleshy, rich texture. The final sensation remains taut with lively, elegant acidity and resonances of plums and almonds. Enjoy with wood-grilled suckling pig chops.
