The colour is pale yellow and the glass is animated with generous and persistent bubbles. The nose is attractive and reveals notes of lime and grapefruit. The structure on the palate is remarkable with a clean attack and a nice fullness. The finish features a charming acidity. This cuvée could be matched with pan-fried scallops.

Dumangin J. Fils

Established for several generations south of Reims, in the commune of Chigny-les-Roses, Maison Dumangin is now in the hands of Gilles Dumangin, and produces champagnes mainly from Pinot Noir grapes. Gilles always seeks tension in his wines, avoiding malolactic fermentation as much as possible, and ages them for a minimum of 3 years for non-vintage wines and 9 years for vintage wines. The domaine also offers a "Vinothèque" range for lovers of mature wines, as well as a renowned ratafia.
